Browser extension data: The DECADE.promo Capture extension reads the content of supplier product pages you choose to capture. This content is sent to our server for AI-powered data extraction. We do not capture data from pages you do not explicitly choose to scan.

Usage data: We collect basic analytics (page views, feature usage) via Google Analytics to improve the product.

3. Browser Extension

The DECADE.promo Capture extension:

Only activates when you click the "Capture" button - it does not run in the background
Reads the current page content (text, images, tables) only when you initiate a capture
Sends page content to our server for AI extraction - this data is processed and discarded, not stored beyond the capture log
Stores your API token locally in browser storage for authentication
Does not collect browsing history, form data, or personal information from web pages
Does not track your browsing activity or share data with third parties

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

Stripe: For payment processing
Anthropic: For AI-powered product data extraction (page content only, no personal data)
Google Analytics: For anonymized usage analytics
Email providers: For transactional email delivery

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing (bcrypt), and access controls. Your data is stored on secured servers with regular backups.

6. Data Retention

Your business data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
