Promotional products for franchise businesses

A franchise account is a hundred small orders with one set of brand standards. Quick-service restaurant chains, fitness franchises, home-service franchises, hotels - they all run the same pattern: corporate approves the catalog, franchisees order from a locked menu of items, and the operations team needs to see the rollup. The vendor that nails this becomes the brand's sole-source for the entire system.

How franchise programs actually work

Corporate marketing approves a catalog of brand-standard items: the exact tee, the exact polo, the exact decoration method, the exact artwork file. Franchisees can order only those items at corporate-set pricing. Franchisees usually pay corporate for the items, and corporate pays you. Or franchisees pay you direct and corporate sees a quarterly rollup.

The brand-standard catalog usually has 20-40 items. Most franchisees order 5-10 of them on a regular cadence. The remaining items are seasonal or event-specific.

What corporate cares about

Brand consistency. Every location's tee needs to be the same color, the same fabric weight, the same logo placement. Any drift kills the consistency they sell to franchisees. Build a portal where each franchisee sees only the corporate-approved items and the artwork is locked. No "can I tweak the design" requests get through.

Reporting. Corporate wants a quarterly view of what each franchisee ordered, total spend, and outliers. Build the rollup view into the multi-customer relationship.

How to set the account up

Corporate marketing is the approver. Each franchisee is a sub-account with their own portal scoped to the brand catalog. Net-30 is rare at the franchisee level (most pay card-on-file); net-30 may be available at the corporate level for the catalog buys that flow through corporate. Get the artwork locked once with corporate and never re-quote a single piece of art again.

A franchise account is a 100-rooftop order pattern with one brand standard. Lock the catalog with corporate, build the per-franchisee portal cleanly, and you become the system's sole-source vendor.
