See your art at actual physical size, on-screen, before it goes to press
Hold a credit card to your screen, drag a slider to calibrate, then drop in any art file. Your design renders at true physical size with rulers along the top and left so you can spot a 4" logo that should have been 3.5" before it goes to press. Works with JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, AI, EPS, and DST. Free with no login.
See it at true size before it goes to press
A 4″ logo that should have been 3.5″ is the kind of detail you only catch by seeing it next to a ruler. Drop in any art file, calibrate your screen with a credit card, and the on-screen render is the actual physical size. Catch sizing mistakes for the cost of a 30-second upload.
How calibration works
Browsers don’t know your screen’s actual pixel density - they assume 96 px/in, which is wrong on most modern monitors and laptops. So we ask you to do it once. Hold a standard credit card up to the screen, drag the slider until the on-screen card matches the physical one, save. The result is stored in your browser for this device.
From then on every render here uses your real px/in. A 3.5″ logo measures 3.5″ with a real ruler held against the glass. Recalibrate any time from the chip above the upload area.
Files we accept
- JPG / PNG - raster images. Physical size from embedded DPI tag if present, otherwise we ask.
- SVG - vectors with a width/height in real units (in / mm / pt / px).
- PDF - first page rendered inline. Physical size from the page MediaBox.
- AI / EPS - bounding box parsed from the file’s native unit system. Browsers can’t render these directly, so the rulers show true size with a placeholder image.
- DST - embroidery stitch file. Bounding box parsed from the actual stitch coordinates, not the (sometimes-lying) header.
Privacy
Files upload to a temporary URL, are read for dimensions, and are auto-deleted after 24 hours. No login required. Anonymous uploads are rate-limited to 20 per day per IP - sign in free for unlimited.
Frequently asked questions
How do I see my logo at actual size on my screen?
Upload it above. After a one-time credit-card calibration of your screen, every render here uses your device’s real pixel density - what you see is what gets printed.
Why does my browser show the wrong size?
Browsers default to 96 pixels per inch, but most modern displays are 110-220 px/in. Without calibration, a 3″ logo can render anywhere from 1.5″ to 4″. The credit-card calibration above fixes this in 30 seconds.
Do I need to recalibrate on every visit?
No. The calibration is stored in your browser for this device. If you switch monitors, change browser zoom, or use a different machine, recalibrate.
What if my file doesn’t have physical dimensions?
Raster images without an embedded DPI tag will prompt you for a DPI value (150 is a reasonable default for screen prints). The rulers update accordingly.
Do you keep my uploaded file?
Yes - for 24 hours, then auto-deleted. We don’t share, sell, or train on uploads. Sign in free if you want files saved against a project for longer.
