What this is good for
- Customer sent an AI but you need a PDF for the supplier. Drop the AI, pick PDF, done.
- EPS to PNG for an invoice or proof. Pick a DPI (72 / 150 / 300 / 600) and a background (transparent, white, or any hex).
- Big PDF to a small JPG email preview. Set a max dimension and we resize before re-encoding.
- SVG to print-ready PDF. Optionally outline fonts so the PDF renders identically without the source font installed.
About raster to vector
Converting a JPG or PNG to a real vector format (AI / EPS / SVG) is not a file format conversion - it's vectorization, which traces curves through pixel data. Our AI Vectorizer handles that and produces production-quality results. This converter does direct format-to-format passes.
How it works under the hood
Self-hosted: Ghostscript handles PDF / EPS / AI rendering, Inkscape handles SVG and vector-to-vector, librsvg renders SVG to raster, and sharp handles every raster transform. All conversions run server-side in a sandbox; nothing is sent to a third-party service.
