What's the file size limit?
25 MB per file on the public converter. If your file is larger, an account also gets you batch + URL conversion which can chain larger jobs.
Do you keep my file on your server?
No. The public converter processes your file in-memory and deletes it after the conversion completes. With a free account, conversions are saved for 30 days so you can re-download from your history - private to your account only.
Can I set the DPI and background?
Yes. PNG output supports DPI selection (72 / 150 / 300 / 600) and background (transparent, white, or any hex value). Default is 150 DPI on a transparent background.
Is this safer than uploading my art to a random online converter?
Yes. The converter is self-hosted on our servers, runs through Ghostscript / Inkscape / sharp - all open-source, well-vetted tools - and we do not retain your file or share it with any third party. Source code visibility is part of the trade-off when you choose a tool that says "we built this on our own infrastructure."
