Decoration choices that age well
Tone-on-tone soft-hand screen prints on tees. Embroidery on hats and outerwear, never on stretch fabrics. Sublimation for full-color performance shirts (CrossFit boxes love this for events). Avoid puff-print and any decoration that screams "high school spirit shirt"; this customer wants to wear it on a date.
How the orders pattern
A monthly merch drop pattern works best for the brands with engaged members. Each drop is 50 to 200 units, sells through, generates buzz on social. A yoga studio might do four drops a year with a seasonal theme. A CrossFit box does an event tee for every weekend competition, plus quarterly box swag.
