Setting up SAGE Connect inside DECADE.promo
If you already pay for SAGE Connect, lighting it up inside DECADE.promo takes about two minutes. You paste two values into Settings and the catalog goes live. Everything else (search, adopt, quote) starts working without a restart.
What you need from SAGE
Your SAGE Account Number and your SAGE Authentication Key. Both come from your SAGE Connect plan in your SAGE dashboard. The account number is short and numeric. The authentication key is a longer string. SAGE rotates the key when you ask them to; we accept either current or previous keys without re-validating.
Where to paste them
In DECADE.promo, go to Settings, then SAGE Settings (visible to ppd-admin and user-admin roles). There are two fields. Paste, save. We test the connection on save and tell you immediately if the credentials are wrong, expired, or attached to a different SAGE plan than you expect.
How to verify it is working
Open the gallery. Type "polo" in the search bar. You should see SAGE search results merged with any products you have already adopted. If results are empty and your account number is correct, check that your SAGE Connect plan includes API access (some lower-tier SAGE plans do not).
