DECADE.promo and Google Workspace

The wrong move: every customer conversation lives in Gmail threads with no link to DECADE.promo. The right move: customer-facing comms (proofs, quotes, invoices, status updates) flow through DECADE.promo so the audit trail is in one place. Gmail handles unstructured one-off conversations and supplier comms.

Drive: the right way to store art files

Customer art files belong in DECADE.promo, attached to the customer record. Generic asset libraries (your own marketing collateral, supplier catalogs you reference often, internal SOP documents) belong in Drive. Do not mix the two.

Calendar: blocking time for the right work

Calendar holds the in-hands dates for active orders. DECADE.promo can sync these (or you can manually add the critical ones to your personal calendar). Customer-facing meetings live in Calendar. Internal team standups live in Calendar. Do not try to make DECADE.promo a calendar app; it is not.

Google Workspace handles the office-tool basics; DECADE.promo handles the operations data. Keep customer information in DECADE.promo as the source of truth and use Workspace for everything else.
