DECADE.promo and Zapier
A native integration is the cleanest path; a webhook plus Zapier is the universal path. Most distributors who want DECADE.promo to talk to a niche tool (Notion for project notes, Airtable for spreadsheet operations, Slack for team alerts) wire it up through a Zap and ship in an afternoon.
Common Zap patterns
New order in DECADE.promo -> Slack alert to a sales channel. New invoice paid -> a row added to Airtable or Notion for the bookkeeper. New customer created -> Mailchimp contact added to the welcome list. Order status changed to In Production -> a Slack DM to the project owner. Each of these is about ten minutes to set up.
What we expose to webhooks
Order events (created, updated, status changed), invoice events (created, paid, refunded), customer events (created, updated), project events. Each event includes the entity ID and a delta of what changed. Most Zaps want the event type and the entity ID; pull the full record from the API if needed.
When Zapier is not the answer
High-volume integrations (more than 100 events a day) or integrations that need transformation logic Zapier struggles with. Those are better served by a direct API integration.
