Stripe is the cleanest payment processor on the internet. The integration question is not whether to use it; it is how to wire it in so customers see your branding, ACH is available to large invoices, and merchant-fee policy is enforced consistently.
Stripe Connect: the white-label part
DECADE.promo uses Stripe Connect so each distributor has their own Stripe account. The customer sees your business name on the payment page, your customer-service email on the receipt, and the funds settle directly to your bank, not ours. The advantage of this model is total brand consistency; the cost is a one-time onboarding step where you connect your Stripe account inside DECADE.promo settings.
Card vs ACH: when to push which
Card at 2.9% plus 30 cents is fine for invoices under $200 where the math is small. ACH at 0.8% capped at $5 saves real money on invoices over $1,000. Default to offering both; on invoices over $5,000, the customer-service-friendly move is to email the customer suggesting ACH explicitly.
Pass-through merchant fees
Some distributors pass merchant fees to the customer as a line item ("Card processing fee, $14.50"). Others absorb the fee silently. DECADE.promo supports both, configured per-distributor with overrides per-customer. The customer sees the policy on the invoice if it applies.
