DECADE.promo and Shopify
Most promo distributors do not need Shopify. DECADE.promo includes a customer-facing storefront with pricing, quotes, and ordering. Shopify becomes relevant when the use case is direct-to-consumer retail, brand pop-ups, or specific Shopify-only payment integrations.
When DECADE.promo's storefront is enough
B2B-to-business buying flows: a customer logs in to your branded portal, browses the products you have curated for them, requests a quote, approves it, gets an invoice. DECADE.promo handles all of this without Shopify. The storefront ships with categories, themes, search, a quote-request flow, and customer-portal integration.
When Shopify makes sense
A consumer-facing brand. A pop-up retail site for a one-off campaign. A use case that depends on Shopify-only apps (subscription management, point-of-sale integrations with Square or Stripe Terminal). A team that already has deep Shopify expertise and does not want to learn a new tool.
Running both
You can. The integration is loose: Shopify handles consumer orders, DECADE.promo handles B2B operations. Inventory of branded blanks lives in DECADE.promo. Shopify SKUs reference back to DECADE.promo product IDs via metadata so a Shopify order can become a DECADE.promo order via Zapier or webhook.
